Waste plant deal to bring 400 jobs

“NPL Estates sell land to Lancashire County Council creating hundreds of new jobs at Thornton.”

Addendum:  NPL Estates has helped facilitate this latest round of inward investment into the Thornton area, which is estimated to be in the order of £2bn.

NPL acquired the whole of the former ICI site 6 years ago and throughout this period has worked closely with Wyre Borough Council, the local community and local businesses.  

The Hillhouse Business Park is now once again a thriving business location due to the commitment and substantial inward investment of NPL over the past 3 years.

This latest piece of good news proves that investor confidence is growing in the Thornton area.
