"Plans were today unveiled to build a new £600m gas-fired power station on the Fylde coast.
Welsh Power and landowners NPL Estates say more than 600 construction jobs and 40 permanent skilled jobs would be created by the plant at the Hillhouse International Business Park in Thornton.
